Albstadt/Shanghai: Three years after the launch of the app “myGrozBeckert”, an informative and helpful application for the textile industry, a completely redesigned version is presented at ITMA ASIA + CITME 2014. The central modification is the modern design with the user friendly navigation. Furthermore the free app is now also available for Android based devices.

At ITMA Barcelona 2011 Groz-Beckert brought out myGrozBeckert as the first app of the company. The app offers in-depth knowledge along the textile value chain and of Groz-Beckert as well as various useful tools and calculation aids in the so-called “Toolbox”.

At this year‘s ITMA ASIA + CITME the company introduces the fundamentally newly designed app myGrozBeckert. The most obvious change affects the design: The textile motives already known from the Groz-Beckert website have now found their way into the app. Moreover it has been given even more priority to the customer’s benefit. Therefore the new app provides a user friendly navigation structure with simplified intuitive user guidance. Especially the use of pictograms eases the operation and orientation significantly, so that the user reaches quickly the desired information and tools. In addition, each user can set the app individually according to his interests.

Furthermore myGrozBeckert has been extended with new functions and content. One example for that is the full text indexed search in all areas of the app. Completely new is also the so-called information portal. It summarizes all updates of the app as well as news from the textile industry. Moreover an overview of the Groz-Beckert product portfolio and the current trade fair appearances has been added.

MyGrozBeckert is available in German, English and Chinese. With the relaunch the app comes also for all smart phones and tablets with the operating systems iOS and Android. From the first day of the exhibition, 16 June 2014, the version of the app can be downloaded for free in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
