Successful FloorTek 2016 for Groz-Beckert in Dalton/USA
Under the slogan "Be part of the Flooring Revolution", FloorTek opened its doors to show off what's trending in the carpet industry.
In Dalton, Georgia, the carpet capital of the world, Floor Tek was held from October 18–20, 2016. The fair for floor coverings, machine manufacturers, suppliers and service providers is known as a driving force in the industry. Groz-Beckert was also present at this important fair, introducing concepts such as the new Cut Pile Looper with Loop Control®.

Groz-Beckert provides an innovative solution
A trend toward supersoft surfaces can be "felt" in almost all carpeting applications. However, the special properties of the soft-fiber yarns (low DPF) used place new and significantly higher demands on tufting tools. To meet them, Groz-Beckert at the FloorTek displayed the Cut Pile Looper with Loop Control®, a tool which secures each complete loop within the cutting area and cuts them cyclically. The result is a uniform, luxuriously soft and high quality carpet texture.

Visitors also showed a keen interest in the Groz-Beckert tufting system, consisting of tufting needle, gripping device, tufting knife and reed finger. Within the system, all components work in harmony to produce a uniform fabric appearance with an unrivaled cost-performance ratio.
