Finally, the time has come again: One of the most important trade fairs for nonwovens and technical textiles, IDEA in Miami, will open its doors at the end of March and Groz-Beckert will be taking part with a booth. At the Miami Convention Center, our Felting and Carding divisions will present their product highlights for the nonwovens industry.

Whether hydroentanglement, classic needling or service: At IDEA, the Felting division will provide a comprehensive insight into its range of products and services for the nonwovens industry. Groz-Beckert is presenting the HyTec® P jet strips, the patented GEBECON® felting needle and the Groz-Beckert customer product to trade fair visitors. Visitors can also look forward to a virtual tour of the pilot plant at the Groz-Beckert Technology and Development Center (TEZ) in Albstadt, Germany. This will enable them to experience the staple fiber needle punch line (SVL) up close and find out how Groz-Beckert can support product development as well as product and process optimization.

In the area of Carding, everything at IDEA is focused on the Groz-Beckert InLine card clothing series. Thanks to a new and patented production method, Groz-Beckert has developed a new range of metallic card clothing, which offers improved process reliability and increased system availability for customers from the nonwovens industry. An exhibit at the booth clearly shows the differences compared with the conventional production method. The SiroLock™ plus worker and doffer wire was developed as the first special geometry of the Groz-Beckert InLine card clothing range, and its function and principle of operation can be experienced at IDEA via Augmented Reality.
